The “Bush Lied” Lefties are going to cry in their coffee when the MSM picks up this story.
I heard a report on Fox News about twenty minutes ago (5 PM Central) that Senator Rick Santorum claims coalition investigators in Iraq found chemical weapons — artillery shells filled with a chemical agent (perhaps sarin nerve agent). The Fox report said Santorum had fought with the Pentagon and White House to get the information declassified. I’d like to see Santorum put his evidence up on the web. Michelle Malkin and her team at Hot Air already had a post up on the story– Hot Air’s post says the artillery shells contained either “degraded mustard” or sarin. I gather the stocks are 1991 (Desert Storm-era) weapons (in other words, left over weapons). I’m not sure that means Saddam had an active chemical weapons program but if this report proves to be true chemical weapons stock would be a violation of UNSCR 687. Stay tuned.
Expect the usual “this doesn’t matter, this was never the issue, let’s move on to the next bad thing Bush is doing” tactic to cover their asses.

The US kicks off against Ghana in just over five hours. George Bush will be having an even better month if they can scrape through to the next round. To do that they are going to have to beat Ghana and pray that Italy beats the Czechs. ‘Cause if the Czechs beat Italy, the US is highly unlikely to go through even if they beat Ghana because they’ll then tie with Italy on points but Italy will almost certainly end up with a better goal difference.
Go, USA!

I can’t seem to find this on any of the “proper” news sites - Fox being so obviously “biased”. This is actually how I thought the MSM would handle this - ignore it and hope it goes away.

History has a tendency of letting the truth get out. We know that Saddam definitely had weapons programs and was biding his time reaping in the stolen oil money, at some point we will know exactly what was shipped off to Syria in those months wasted trying to get a new UN resolution with Saddams partners in crime aboard.
