Congratulations folks. So, people decided it was time for a change. Throw the bums out. Let’s give the Dems a chance to run things a bit, I mean, they can’t be any worse, right? Besides, we’re all just a little tired of hearing about all these scandals anyway, sheesh what a bunch of hypocrites.
Ok, ok, so maybe at a mere 3 2 weeks into things, it’s a bit early to be so cynical and negative. Heck, at least I could give it 100 Hours, ya know. Cept that at this pace that’ll be sometime around March. Of next year. And maybe I should give them a chance to reform - but with much more of a chance, it really will look like a circular firing squad. Forget any mere appearance of impropriety to distract us! It’ll be bipartisan, and all! Look, it’s not like they don’t have a choice! They can choose between “shut up and color” or “just do what I’m tellin ya, see?”
Speaking of choices, let’s not even get into the Dems choices on the war - which seem to be “believe we’re gonna lose, but cover your ass” or “believe we SHOULD lose, and help realize that goal as much as possible”. Sadly, from their perspective, it’s a win either way, they still get to blame the President, and act out any way they please out of faux righteous indignation. Oh, and you thought Sheehan would have to stay outside actual proceedings? Probably sending a “thanks hun” note to Barb right this second for covering for her. Sheehan and Benjamin certainly have a lot of chutzpah claiming to be “professional peace activists” with the likes of Boxer around.
Is it February yet? Only 23 and a half more months. Yippee.

reminds me of when Newt Gingrich called Hillary Clinton a ‘bitch’ back in the 1990’s. Please dont feel too sorry for Condi–i think she can defend herself (just take a look at this picture!

I don’t feel sorry for Dr. Rice, she’s quite capable of taking care of herself.
It’s all the rest of us I feel sorry for.
