In America |

If I don’t delete this post before it becomes automatically published then I guess it means I’m on walkabout somewhere in America.

If you don’t hear from me by October send in the SAS to find me.

    The above stands.

But I am, right now, for those who care (and hell, who doesn’t?,) about to cross lake Mischigan from Ludington to Green Bay and then hitch back through the Upper Peninsula to Canada.

    Sounds cool huh?

  3. Reese:

Packers host the San Diego Chargers in about 25 hours. You don’t have to go to the game, just hang out for the party in the parking lot starting about 0600 tomorrow. I’ve done that once in my life there, you shouldn’t miss it.

  4. Rick Giles:

    So noted.

    Rick,
    Manitowoc

A walk about eh? Take care of the feet mister. :)

  6. Reese:

There should be a lot of Youpers there. Seems U.P. Michiganders identify more with Green Bay Packers than with Detroit. Best corner for the “tailgating” is where the RVs are (SW corner, I think). We RVers know how to put out a spread. Watch for a converted 1950-ish schoolbus that’s painted like an American football helmet. Photogenic it is. Catty corner from there, across the street is a seperate city Ashwaubenon (sp?) where scalping is legal (high libertarian concept). Sportsbars ring the site, too, if-I-recall-correctly.

I waved to the Packers stadium in Green Bay on my way past for you R.

Presently in Houghton, on my way to Copper Harbour.

    goin’ good
    feet are fine
    ;)

  8. Reese:

Har! Well thanks for that and I hope you enjoyed the view. Packers won 31-24 over the Chargers. Party for sure resumed at 1500 local. Likely no rioting like you see in metric football.
