Just found out my mate from Wellington, Peter, has a blog. Renascent Exegete.

Peter Mac has gotten into a bit of a scuff with the NZ Green Party blog, Frog Blog.

I don’t see Peter offering his view on the peak oil fallacy in his comments to the Frog.

I see Shell Oil CEO Jeroen van der Veer’s comments on demand and consumption quoted. I see Frog reading that as van der Veer’s assent to, and temporal prophesy of, the peak oil fallacy.

Perhaps Frog forgot to quote the passage that supports this interpretation? Or, is it possible that the Greens have found a way to squint so that just about any picture they see looks like it backs up their imagined vision of doomsday for civilisation?
