Red enough to be spotted from afar |

I recall being told by a friend of mine from Urbana-Champaign, shortly after Obama’s appearance at the 2004 DNC Convention, about the observation that Barack’s politics were “to the left of Mao”. Seemed fairly obvious, but then I tend to pay attention to such things.

However, it seems to have escaped notice by a fairly large segment of the American public. Quite likely because no one has pointed it out since the last Brittany update, Lindsay photo shoot, and OJ backstory. But, even if they haven’t been keeping up, shouldn’t be too hard to catch up. After all, Obama’s outright Marxist affiliations are so numerous and open, that it’s obvious from far, far away. So obvious, that even a distant, detached observer such as Trevor, all the way in New Zealand, seems to have no problem turning up all sorts of items. How much material? Enough for (to date) at least 15 link-filled postings so far - and it’s doubtful he’s going to stop anytime soon!

Start here - and just follow on to the next as Trevor lays out the case. He’s been so thorough, and relentless, that others are finally starting to take notice

Good job Trevor.

Several folks, those that generally make a living off of victimology and race exacerbation, are busily creating the meme that the election will be all about color. That folks won’t vote for Obama because he’s black.

They’re only half right. It will be all about color. But the color in question isn’t black.

It’s red.

Having read the referenced Political Affairs article, I cannot find any evidence to support Trevor’s claim that “the Communist Party USA is claiming Barack Obama as its spiritual heir.”

Where is this claim? Did I overlook it?

  2. Wind Rider:

Possibly, I wouldn’t have the slightest idea, as I’m hardly your personal research assistant. I would suggest you take up your concerns with Trevor himself, as I’m also not currently employed nor authorized to speak in his stead.

    Good day to you.

  3. Kaleokualoha:

Here is Trevors “Obama’s Marxist Mentor” blog: http://newzeal.blogspot.com/2007/03/barack-obamas-marxist-mentor.html. Here is the referenced Communist Party link: http://www.politicalaffairs.net/article/articleview/5047/1/32/.

Please note that Trevor and Cliff Kincaid are masters of disinformation, but neglect to answer when their deliberate misrepresentation is exposed.

  4. Wind Rider:

Well, it seems you’re strawman premise is that Trevor is not allowed to do anything except lift direct quotes from the articles he cites as references for his conclusion.

And having read both pieces - Trevor’s evaluation that Horne’s piece is, in effect, claiming Obama as their ideological heir, taught at the knee of Frank Davis in Hawaii, is not at all a stretch given the available material here.

If anyone is being disingenuous here, Kaleohackenbush, I’d say it was you - you DID claim to be able to read. But then reading is a lot different than comprehending, and simply moving one’s eyes across the printed page is no guarantee that original thought might be stirred to action from such a regimented and closed mind. . .

Obama made his licks, and earned his cred by hanging with the heavy lefties. Feigned indignation over having that ponted out isn’t really an argument, or even something worth wasting any further time on.
