Experience |

Despite having authored two autobiographies, Barack Obama has never written about his most important executive experience. From 1995 to 1999, he led an education foundation called the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC), and remained on the board until 2001. The group poured more than $100 million into the hands of community organizers and radical education activists.

Read the whole thing.

This article is the result of the investigative journalism done by Stanley Kurtz, despite attempts to deny him access to the source documentation, and to whip up a digital riot to mob him and smear his work once he did.

This goes a long way towards answering the question of why the Obama campaign has been so meek responding to charges that Barry lacks experience. He isn’t lacking, it’s just that he doesn’t want anyone to know what his actual experience entails. Looks like there’s a pretty good reason for that.

::Update:: - too good not to include:

The Obama campaign has cried foul when Bill Ayers comes up, claiming “guilt by association.” Yet the issue here isn’t guilt by association; it’s guilt by participation. As CAC chairman, Mr. Obama was lending moral and financial support to Mr. Ayers and his radical circle. That is a story even if Mr. Ayers had never planted a single bomb 40 years ago.

What was that quote about politics to the left of Mao? Barry helped flush 100 million intended to improve the performance of Chicago’s schools. End result - leftist wackos got walking around money, and the kids of Chicago couldn’t read any better, write any better, or do math any better than before they started. About the best thing that can be said of Barry’s ‘experience’ is that he was ineffectual enough to keep from doing any real damage with this stunt.
