My reaction is more one of sad bemusement at the notion of a ‘divided’ nation, and see this as another ignorant display by folks most charitably referred to as useful idiots. Then again, I seriously doubt that many, if any, of them really understand how manufactured, childish, and downright ridiculous a lot of their eight years of rage really was. I equally doubt that they fully understand what it was they were being goaded to ask for, and what, in fact, they have received. Or that they’ll realize this in any sort of a timely manner. They haven’t so far.

Get ready to grow up kids. A hard rain is coming. And it ain’t coming from the direction you’ve imagined.
